Article by Marianna Fakhurdinova, New Europe Center research fellow for “Ukraine verstehen”, a project of the German think tank “Zentrum Liberale Moderne”, aimed at promoting Ukraine in Germany.
Written for the German audience, the article deals with the success stories in reforms implementation in Ukraine, which are sometimes underestimated abroad. The paper also justifies the need for NATO to provide Ukraine with new instruments based on conditionality approach (MAP or NATO Compatibility plan) that will help to further implement reforms in Ukraine, started within the EU-Ukraine Visa Liberalisation Action Plan.
