The study of the Ukrainian-Latvian relations is a continuation of a multi-year initiative “Ukraine’s Foreign Policy Audit”, undertaken by the team of the New Europe Center. Our goal is to study the mutual interests of Ukraine and its strategically important partners in order to develop recommendations for a proactive foreign policy for Ukraine.
In the framework of the initiative, 20 discussion papers have been already published on Ukraine’s bilateral relations with its partners, as well as the recommendations to the Foreign Policy Strategy of Ukraine.
The paper was written with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia. The views and opinions expressed in this paper are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia.
