In Kyiv the preparations are being made for President Zelensky’s visit to Washington on August 30. For the Ukrainian delegation, the priority topic of this visit is security. In particular, it has recently been actively discussed what are the optimal security options for Ukraine in a situation when the US lacks support for Ukraine’s transition to the next stage of NATO integration, including an invitation to implement the MAP.

The New Europe Center analyzed security options for Ukraine in its relations with the United States in terms of their compatibility with Ukraine’s integration into the Alliance.
