“The Austrian government has a pro-European attitude towards anti-Russian sanctions. The reasons are, first of all, EU presidency of Austria, it must become the success story of Sebastian Kurz and, in overall, his coalition. Secondly, the recent spy scandal will not change stable relations between Russia and Austria, but definitely influences the situation with sanctions. That`s why Austria will support pro-European approach on the 13th of December in the end of its presidency and it`s not ready now to be an initiator of so called “sanctions killers” club in the EU,” Tetiana Levonuk, an analyst at the New Europe Center, noted in interview for UA TV.
