On December 11 and 12, a closed strategic session of Ukrainian and Polish experts was held in Kyiv. The key issues discussed by the participants were further movement on the track of bilateral relations and cooperation between Kyiv and Warsaw in matters of Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO.

“It was a closed, frank, but at the same time with great respect for each other, deep dive into security and European integration topics. The Polish delegation also had an opportunity to informally discuss the most sensitive issues with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, who, at our invitation, joined for this conversation online from Brussels, where he works with EU ministers on the most positive outcome for Ukraine of the summit this Thursday”, said Alyona Getmanchuk, the Director of the New Europe Center.

The strategic session is organized by the New Europe Center (Ukraine) and the Mieroszewski Centre (Poland).
