NEC on Central European Initiative Forum
11 October 2019, 17:30

Youth mobility is reality that we have to take into account. In case of Ukraine, the main reason for talented youth emigration is still low standards of life, meaning not only wages, but also the health care system, social protection etc.”

Tatiana Levoniuk, New Europe Center research fellow took part in the Central European Initiative Forum and spoke as a discussant on the panel “Youth Mobility and Employment”.

Key issues discussed on the forum:

  • How can mobility become one of the many opportunities for Central European Initiative countries?
  • What policies should governments promote to balance youth employment and mobility?
  • What youth entrepreneurship policies are being implemented at the national level?
  • How to strike a balance between competition, public policy and modern entrepreneurship?

Forum was organized by Istituto Affari Internazionali in partnership with Central European Initiative and Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
