At a friendly working buffet lunch, hosted in the residence of the Ambassador of Romania, New Europe Center together with the Romanian Embassy in Ukraine summarized the results of Romania’s first presidency of the EU Council.

At the reception, Ambassador Christian Leon Turcanu briefly informed the participants (analysts, journalists, diplomats) about the success of the presidency of the Council. On behalf of Ukraine Alyona Getmanchuk, Director of the New Europe Center, expressed gratitude to Romania for the consistent support of Ukraine in countering Russian aggression and for the fact that Bucharest did not bring controversial bilateral issues to the EU and NATO level.
