Leo Litra, NEC’s Senior Research Fellow spoke at the event “Reviving the Eastern Partnership”.
The event was aimed to assess the impact of the EU’s Eastern Partnership until date, as well as identify and compile the current trends, current problems, and best practices from Eastern Partnership member countries, especially from Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia. Furthermore, as part of the event, the participants identified tools and mechanisms on how the EU’s Eastern Partnership might be upgraded in the future.
Similar events already took place in Chisinau and Kyiv.
Let us remind you that by the tenth anniversary of the Eastern Partnership program, the EU Institute for Security Studies (EU ISS) conducted a big research “The Eastern Partnership A Decade On: Looking Back, Thinking Ahead”. New Europe Center analysts Kateryna Zarembo and Leo Litra prepared a Chapter on Ukraine.
The event took place in Kyiv on June 18, 2019 and was organized by the European Liberal Forum in cooperation with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
