During the event we will have an opportunity to hear EU institutions and Ukraine proposals and visions of the Eastern Partnership 2030 EaPTrio2030, as well as updates on the Ukrainian economy and reforms in the context of COVID-19 outbreak. The Q&A session will be devoted to further exchanges on the raised topics.
The EU Eastern Partnership needs a new geopolitical approach, fine-tuned strategy in these circumstances when the EU proposals in the Joint Communication on Eastern Partnership policy beyond 2020 were adopted in an unprecedented situation of the pandemic. The EU policies will be judged by its results, and especially so during the crisis and its aftermath. We need to have a clear roadmap to the EaP Summit addressing the next key flagship EU policy actions, which of course is because of uncertainty how the pandemics will be handled, as well as lack of time and resources. The Eastern Partnership needs a geostrategic vision leading to the next steps of European integration and reforms for Eastern Partners, especially the ones who have chosen the path to the EU, EaPTrio2030,
