The Ukrainian-Japan forums aim to establish closer cooperation and develop a better understanding between two countries, in particular at the level of think tanks. Across three discussion panels, analysts and academics from Japan and Ukraine will discuss issues related to the broader security environment in which both countries are operating today, as well as bilateral relations in the context of ongoing Russia’s war in Ukraine.
In particular, discussion panels will focus on the following issues:
- How Ukraine and Japan democracy duo can confront emerging “four horses of Apocalypse” alliance
- Japan as Ukraine’s one stop gateway to G7 and Global South. What mission is more needed?
- From special to strategic. What are the key elements for transforming global special partnership between Ukraine and Japan into strategic one?
