‘Donald Trump may help to pause the war, but not end it. Moreover, the future president will be able to do this if he is not paralyzed by fear of escalation and is ready, through concrete political decisions, to show Putin that continuing the war will not mean the end of an independent Ukraine, but the end of his own regime.’
