«US-Russia summit without a clear strategy for what one wants to achieve could undermine Ukraine’s coordination with its partners. Such a bilateral summit risks creating rifts between the United States and Europe and putting Kyiv in the position of having to reject unacceptable proposals, potentially resulting in it being perceived as an obstacle to peace», the expert emphasizes.
