Leo Litra, Senior Fellow at the NEC, in his speech at the KAS Eastern Partnership School of Excellence urged to pay more attention to the security factor in the Eastern Partnership member states.
“As we are approaching the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership, we need to reflect on how to keep, make sustainable and develop the key achievements of this initiative – notably the Association Agreement and the visa-free travel. But we also need to upgrade the initiative is such a way that it devotes greater attention and resources to the security dimension which is among the top challenges of the region,” Mr. Litra noted.
Eastern Partnership School of Excellence was held on November 8-11 in Chisinau (Moldova) with the support of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. Eastern Partnership School of Excellence aims to further the European idea and democratic values in the EaP member states.
