“Now especially jewelry work is needed in Germany. So to thank for the highest level of support in Europe in financial terms, but also to confidently demand what Ukraine needs now and without looking back at the United States or other partners. Although expert diplomacy has its limitations, this is the case when we count on certain concrete results from our visit”, Alyona Getmanchuk, Director of New Europe, shared her impressions of the advocacy visit.

Last week, Alyona Getmanchuk and Leonid Litra had two days of intensive meetings and closed discussions in Berlin: in the government, the Bundestag, with key experts, editors of some important media, an expert event organized by ECFR Berlin.

The main focus of the visit of the New Europe Center team was on air defense systems. After all, Germany leads the corresponding coalition on air defense systems and for some time has been positioning this as its special focus in helping Ukraine.

The previuos advocacy visits were held to Italy and France in April.
