NEC received an award along with partners from Romania, Georgia and Moldova

The Eastern Partnership Think-Tank Forum 2018 won the Award of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) Annual Assembly.

On December 12, in Tbilisi (Georgia) the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum awarded the Eastern Partnership Think-Tank Forum 2018 (EaPTTF 2018) with “Re-Granting Award Certificate 2018” as the best EaP CSF project implemented in 2018.

The aim of this award is to recognize those Re-granting projects that, during the year 2018, have been successfully implemented and achieved outstanding results.

EaPTTF 2018 was organized by the New Europe Center together with the Experts for Security and Global Affairs (Bucharest), the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (Chisinau) and the Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies (Tbilisi).

EaPTTF 2018 took place in Bucharest, between 14-16 of November. At the Forum, NEC was represented by Leo Litra, Senior Analyst at NEC, and Sergiy Solodkyy, First Deputy Director of the NEC.

Over 25 top notch experts from both Eastern Partnership Countries and the European Union together with almost 100 participants gathered at the second edition of the Eastern Partnership Think Tank Forum. The event addressed the current challenges and future perspectives of the European Unions Eastern Partnership policy.

NEC has been at the origins of the EaP Think Tank Forum together with its partner organizations. Today’s award is a recognition of the efforts which New Europe Center team has directed at solidifying the think tank community in the Eastern Partnership region, promoting a permanent dialogue between think tanks in the EaP and in the EU, and consolidate the expertise and the cooperation with all interested stakeholders in the Eastern Partnership.
