After President Trump’s inauguration, the number of Russia’s air attacks on Ukraine almost doubled.
The New Europe Center prepared an infographic illustrating the dynamics of Russia’s air attacks against Ukraine’s civilian population for 127 days before Donald Trump’s inauguration and 127 days after. The analysis shows that Russia significantly intensified its attacks: the number of UAV strikes increased from 8,405 to 15,242. And all this happened against the backdrop of the US calls for negotiations, Ukraine’s agreement to for an unconditional cease-fire and direct talks with Russia.
These data are yet another proof of the Kremlin’s true “willingness” for peace. Having no significant successes on the battlefield, Russia directs its terror against Ukraine’s civilians.
The number of air attacks against Ukraine is based on the information provided by the Ukrainian Air Force.
