Alyona Getmanchuk, Director of the New Europe Center, will be the Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an evening video appeal on December 20.

Alyona Getmanchuk is an experienced expert on foreign and security policy. She has been working in the analytical sector since 2009. She is the author of numerous analytical documents, a significant part of which is devoted to the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.

In addition, Alyona Getmanchuk has almost 15 years of experience as an international columnist and editor. Her dossier consists of numerous analytical articles in leading Ukrainian and foreign media. Her blog in the most popular Ukrainian online media “Ukrainska Pravda” was previously called “The Euro-Atlantic Diary”.

Since March, 2022 Alyona Getmanchuk is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center.
