On February 25, 2026, the New Europe Center hosted a roundtable meeting of the New Europe Club titled “The 100-Year Partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom: Shaping the Next 99 Years.”
The participants were welcomed by Sergiy Solodkyy, Director of the New Europe Center. The guest speaker of the event was Charlotte Surun, Chargée d’Affaires of the United Kingdom to Ukraine.
In a trusting, off-the-record atmosphere, participants discussed a wide range of issues, including how the partnership is perceived by the Ukrainian and British sides, what has been achieved during the first year of the partnership, what its future holds, and how to make it as beneficial as possible for both countries.
The New Europe Club is an expert platform for open exchange of views between representatives of Ukraine and foreign partners on key security and foreign policy issues.
