ANNOUNCEMENT: presentation of independent monitoring “Candidate Check-4”

In June 2022, Ukraine was assigned the EU candidate status, alongside a number of recommendations were given to be implemented for further membership advance. In June 2023, the European Commission will present an interim verbal conclusion on Ukraine’s progress in the implementation of 7 Euro reforms.

In partnership with a number of specialized think tanks and public organizations, the New Europe Center invites you to join the panel discussion where the “Candidate Check” coalition experts will showcase their independent monitoring of Ukraine’s implementation of EU recommendations.

It is the 4th monitoring of this kind that Ukrainian experts have been conducting since Ukraine was granted EU candidate status last year in June. Previous editions of “Candidate Check” can be found here: https://bit.ly/3oTud98

The event of New Europe Center and its partners will help you learn:

  • where we are now in terms of implementing each recommendation;
  • what dynamics of the reforms implementation have been for more than 10 months of being a candidate;
  • which EU recommendations are the most difficult to implement.
