Recently, Director of the New Europe Center Alyona Getmanchuk together with colleagues from other organizations had a fruitful meeting with Vice President of the German Bundestag Katrin Göring-Eckardt.

According to Alyona Getmanchuk, Mrs. Göring-Ekardt wants to understand the needs of Ukraine as accurately as possible in order to win both war and peace. To do this, she came on a week-long visit, visiting not only Kyiv, but also some other, not the safest cities in Ukraine.

“I expressed expectations from the resolution of the Bundestag, which the German parliamentarians plan to adopt on the 2nd anniversary of the Big War, trying at the same time to explain why we need Taurus so much – in fact, the only name of weapons we need, for which the political taboo has not yet been lifted”, the Director of the New Europe concluded.
